What information we collect through our website and programs, why, and the choices you have about it.
This policy explains how TRUETH Foundation collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to trueth.group and jointrueth.com, from families enrolled in TRUETH Jin Sun Do, and from donors.
What we collect
- Contact information you give us: name, email, phone, mailing address.
- Enrollment information for a child in the program, provided by a parent or guardian: name, age, emergency contact, and relevant health or behavioral information you choose to share so we can support your child well.
- Donation and payment information, processed through our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Basic website usage information, described further in our Cookie Policy.
Why we collect it
We use this information to run the program safely, communicate with families, process donations and issue tax receipts, and improve our website and outreach.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share a child's information with any outside organization except where the law requires it or where it is necessary to protect a child's safety.
Retention
We keep enrollment and donor records for as long as reasonably needed for program continuity, safety, tax, and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify them.
Your rights
- Ask what information we hold about you or your child.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep by law.
- Withdraw consent for optional uses, such as photos, at any time.
