AI Use Policy

How TRUETH Foundation uses artificial intelligence internally, and the clear line: AI never replaces clinical judgment or instructor supervision of a child.

TRUETH Foundation uses artificial intelligence tools for internal, administrative work, such as drafting communications, organizing information, and helping build and maintain this website. This page explains what that means and, just as importantly, what it does not mean.

Where we use AI

  • Drafting and editing written materials, such as emails, newsletters, and website content, which are reviewed by a person before they are sent or published.
  • Administrative and operational support, such as organizing information or building website tools.

Where AI never replaces a human

AI is never used to make a decision about a child's safety, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or any clinical judgment. Every instructional decision about a child during a session is made by a trained human instructor, in person, in real time.

AI does not supervise children, is not present during sessions in any decision-making capacity, and does not replace the judgment of TRUETH's instructors or any outside medical or psychological provider a family works with.

Data and privacy

We do not input a child's identifying health or behavioral information into general-purpose AI tools. See our Privacy Policy and Children's Privacy policy for how we handle that information.
