For families

Questions parents ask

The questions we hear most, answered plainly.

Does my child need a diagnosis?

No. We serve every child, with a diagnosis or without one.

Is this therapy?

No. TRUETH is a structured movement and regulation program. It is complementary to therapy and medical care and is never a replacement for it. We do not diagnose or treat.

My child will not sit still. Will that be a problem?

No. Many of the children we work with cannot sit still, and the program is built around moving rather than around suppressing movement.

What if we cannot afford it?

We run a sliding scale and offer full scholarships. No child is turned away for financial reasons. Ask us directly and we will work it out privately.

Will insurance cover this?

Our academy programs are paid directly by families, on a sliding scale. Our clinical track, delivered through partner institutions under licensed clinical supervision, is designed so that partner institutions can bill where the service qualifies. Coverage depends on the institution and your plan, and we will never promise you coverage we cannot see.

How long before we see anything?

We will not give you a number. Families report different things on different timelines, and anyone who quotes you a guaranteed result for a child's nervous system is selling something.
