Start the conversationTuition supports program delivery. TRUETH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; tuition is a program fee and is not a tax-deductible donation. Nothing on this page charges a card. Every band starts with a conversation.
Clinical and school delivery
Partner sites are priced differently
When TRUETH is delivered inside a hospital, clinic, or school, the program is contracted with that institution rather than billed to your family. If you met TRUETH through your care team or your child's school, ask them how their program is funded.
Questions about paying
How do I ask for the sliding scale?
You tell us. There is no application, no income documentation to start, and no committee. We have the conversation privately and set a band that works.
Will my child know which band we are on?
No. Bands are not visible on the mat. Same class, same uniform, same instructor, same ceremony.
What if our situation changes?
Tell us and we change the band. That runs both directions, and nobody is penalized for either one.
Is any of this covered by insurance?
Academy tuition is paid by families. Our clinical track is delivered through partner institutions under licensed clinical supervision, and billing is determined by that institution and your plan. We will never promise you coverage we cannot see.
Do you charge for the Warrior Ceremony or belt testing?
No. Testing and the ceremony are included in every band, including scholarship.
If cost is the reason you are hesitating, it should not be.
