No child is ever turned away for financial reasons.
That is the policy, in those words. Here is how it actually works so you know what you are walking into.
How to get one
You ask. That is the whole process to begin. Say that full tuition does not work for your family and we will set a band with you privately, in conversation.
What we do not require
- No written application
- No income documentation to start the conversation
- No diagnosis, IEP, or referral
- No committee reviewing your family
What your child experiences
Exactly what every other student experiences. Same class, same instructor, same uniform, same belt testing, same Warrior Ceremony. Bands are not visible on the mat and are never discussed in front of students.
If things change
Tell us and we adjust, in either direction. Families who move up a band later are the reason another family can move down. Nobody is penalized for either.
