Disclaimers
TRUETH Jin Sun Do is a wellness and education program that complements medical and psychological care. It is never a replacement for it, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition.
In a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911. For a suicide or mental health crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. TRUETH staff are not emergency responders, and our program is not a substitute for emergency care.
TRUETH Jin Sun Do is complementary, not a replacement
TRUETH Jin Sun Do is a movement-based practice combining breathwork, martial arts sequences, and emotional literacy, designed to support mental and emotional regulation in children, including neurodivergent children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, depression, or giftedness.
It is intended to work alongside, and never in place of, medical care, psychological care, or therapy that a child is already receiving or may need. If your child has a diagnosed condition, please continue working with your child's doctor or therapist. TRUETH is not a substitute for that relationship.
We do not diagnose or treat
Our instructors are not physicians, psychologists, or licensed therapists acting in that capacity during class, and TRUETH Jin Sun Do does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychiatric condition.
If you have questions about whether the program is right for your child's specific medical or psychological needs, please talk with your child's clinician before enrolling.
No outcome guarantees
Every child responds differently to any physical or emotional-regulation practice. We do not promise or guarantee specific results, improvements, or timelines for any child, and we do not use outcome statistics we have not measured.
Physical activity
The program involves physical movement. As with any physical activity, there is a normal risk of minor strain or injury. See our Injury Prevention and Concussion Protocol for how we reduce and respond to that risk.
Questions before enrolling
If anything here is unclear, please ask us before you enroll your child. Reach us at [email protected] or 702.871.8535.
