Executive Compensation Review

How TRUETH intends to review compensation for its executive leadership to keep it reasonable and properly documented.

This policy is written and in effect as TRUETH practice. Formal board adoption and counsel review are in progress.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, TRUETH Foundation must ensure that any compensation paid to its executive leadership is reasonable for the work performed and properly documented.

Our intended approach

  • Compensation decisions for executive leadership are reviewed and approved by the board, without the individual being compensated present for that vote.
  • The board considers comparable compensation data for organizations of similar size and mission when available.
  • The basis for the decision is documented at the time it is made.

Status

TRUETH does not currently disclose specific compensation figures, review dates, or comparability data on this page, because a formal board-adopted compensation review process is still being put in place. We will update this page once that process is formally adopted and has produced a documented review.
