Code of Conduct
What we expect from students, families, staff, and instructors, so every session stays safe and respectful.
This policy is written and in effect as TRUETH practice. Formal board adoption and counsel review are in progress.

This code of conduct sets expectations for everyone who takes part in TRUETH Jin Sun Do: students, parents and guardians, instructors, and staff.
For students
- Treat instructors and fellow students with respect and kindness.
- Follow instructor direction during physical activity, for everyone's safety.
- No bullying, teasing, or excluding another student; see our Anti-Bullying policy.
For parents and guardians
- Communicate any relevant health, sensory, or behavioral information that will help your child have a good session.
- Arrive and depart on time, and let us know in advance if your child needs to miss a session.
- Raise any concern directly with us, using our Complaints and Concerns process, rather than confronting another family or instructor.
For instructors and staff
- Follow our safeguarding practices at all times, including the two-adult rule described in our Safeguarding policy.
- Use only the physical contact appropriate to instruction, as described in our Physical Contact policy.
- Report any safety or welfare concern about a child immediately, per our mandatory reporting practice.
Status
This code reflects how TRUETH Foundation expects its community to operate today. As a newer organization we are formalizing board adoption of our written policies, including this one, and will update this page once that is complete.
